My name is Kenny Lawrence and I have enjoyed practicing Massage Therapy for 14 years. I have 10 years experience working with patients rehabilitating various acute and chronic muscular injuries and imbalances in a chiropractic office. I have also maintained a mobile service in which I traveled to clients homes to treat them. My specialty is deep tissue massage which as the name suggests accesses progressively deeper levels of muscle tissue through various massage strokes and techniques. I also employ the use of applied pressure to various areas of the body which may have particularly chronic tension or contracted muscle tissue. At times I make use certain passive stretching exercises for my clients either during or after the massage session which allows tense muscles to further relax. I make it a point to communicate with my client during our session to ensure I am working within their comfort level. This is their time and I want them to have both an enjoyable and relaxing experience. I strive to meet or exceed my client’s goals weather it be relaxation and de-stressing from the day, helping chronically tense muscles release, or treating acute muscular injuries.
